Designing a Video Game

In Science, our Year 3 students have been exploring robotics and programming through the exciting challenge of designing their own video games. They learned how robots and computers follow instructions, solve problems, and interact with users.

Using creativity and teamwork, the students planned characters, levels, and game rules. They also developed basic coding skills and discovered how technology can be used to create fun and interactive experiences.

This project helped them improve their logical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and digital competence while enjoying the world of robotics and game design.

Coding Our Bodies: 3rd Graders Learn Science with mTiny!

Activity with Mtiny and our 3rd Grade A students to review the contents of the human body systems in Science.

In this engaging and interactive session, our 3rd Grade A students worked with Mtiny to reinforce their understanding of the main human body systems, including the circulatory, respiratory, digestive, and nervous systems. Through hands-on activities, collaborative challenges, and guided discussions, students reviewed key concepts in a dynamic and motivating way.

Using Mtiny as a learning tool allowed students to develop not only their scientific knowledge but also essential skills such as teamwork, problem-solving, and logical thinking. The activity encouraged active participation, curiosity, and meaningful learning, helping students connect theoretical content with practical experiences.

It was a fun and enriching experience that strengthened their understanding of how the human body works while fostering enthusiasm for Science.

Human Body Systems

In 3rd Grade Science, our students have been working on a project about the human body systems. For two weeks, the children worked in groups to learn about different systems: the digestive system, the respiratory system, the circulatory system, the excretory system and the nervous system.

Each group researched their system, learned new vocabulary in English and shared the information with their classmates. After the research and class discussion, they created a mural together. They wrote short and clear sentences in English, drew the main organs and organised the information carefully.

At the end of the project, each group presented their mural to the class and explained how their body system works and why it is important. In the photos, you can see the students proudly showing their work.

Well done to our 3rd Grade students for their great effort and teamwork! 👏
