Coding Our Bodies: 3rd Graders Learn Science with mTiny!

Activity with Mtiny and our 3rd Grade A students to review the contents of the human body systems in Science.

In this engaging and interactive session, our 3rd Grade A students worked with Mtiny to reinforce their understanding of the main human body systems, including the circulatory, respiratory, digestive, and nervous systems. Through hands-on activities, collaborative challenges, and guided discussions, students reviewed key concepts in a dynamic and motivating way.

Using Mtiny as a learning tool allowed students to develop not only their scientific knowledge but also essential skills such as teamwork, problem-solving, and logical thinking. The activity encouraged active participation, curiosity, and meaningful learning, helping students connect theoretical content with practical experiences.

It was a fun and enriching experience that strengthened their understanding of how the human body works while fostering enthusiasm for Science.

Explaining a four day school trip

Primary 6 year students have started a project in Literacy subject in which they will explain the planning and organisation of the 4 day school trip to New York that they imagined a few months ago.

In order to do this they will have to explain:

1. The details of the round-trip airline tickets, accommodation (location, type of room, cost, reviews, stars, etc.), distance between the country of origin and the destination, time difference and currency exchange (equivalences).

2. The clothes and toiletries packed in the suitcase taking into account the weather in New York. Detailed description of the outfit of the first two days (order of adjectives).

3. The rules they had to follow during the trip taking into account the different places and situations they encountered (airport, public transport, sightseeing tours, hotel, restaurants, etc.).

4. The planning of the route they followed during the four days of the trip, providing detailed information on the landmarks, location, entrance prices, opening hours, interesting facts, etc.

Learning and having fun with Bee Bots

From the subject of “Profundización Educativa” we have introduced the children to the programming language. In our school we have a classroom called "the classroom of the future" in which we have carried out numerous programming activities. But before getting to work, our language assistant, Tim, explained the different corners as well as some of the activities and tools they would be using, such as the bee bots.

The 2nd graders had a great time while learning without realising it! 😀 Check it out!
