Coding Our Bodies: 3rd Graders Learn Science with mTiny!
In this engaging and interactive session, our 3rd Grade A students worked with Mtiny to reinforce their understanding of the main human body systems, including the circulatory, respiratory, digestive, and nervous systems. Through hands-on activities, collaborative challenges, and guided discussions, students reviewed key concepts in a dynamic and motivating way.
Using Mtiny as a learning tool allowed students to develop not only their scientific knowledge but also essential skills such as teamwork, problem-solving, and logical thinking. The activity encouraged active participation, curiosity, and meaningful learning, helping students connect theoretical content with practical experiences.
It was a fun and enriching experience that strengthened their understanding of how the human body works while fostering enthusiasm for Science.

Following Instructions in Arts
During our Bilingual Days, the 1st grade students took part in a fun drawing activity in English called “How to Draw a Cartoon Harry Potter and Hedwig”.
Following a step-by-step tutorial, the children learned how to draw the famous wizard Harry Potter together with his owl, Hedwig.
During the session, the teacher gave simple instructions in English such as draw a circle, draw the glasses, add the lightning scar, and draw the wings. In this way, students practiced English vocabulary related to shapes, parts of the face, and drawing. The students followed the steps with great enthusiasm and creativity, creating their own versions of Harry Potter and Hedwig.
At the end of the activity, they proudly shared their drawings with their classmates. It was a very enjoyable session where students combined art and English in a creative and motivating way.

We Learn to Code Through Play in Year 2!
In Year 2 of Primary Education, we have experienced some very special sessions… we have become young programmers!
Through several educational robotics lessons, our pupils have developed their computational thinking skills in a practical, hands-on and, above all, fun way.
During the sessions, we organised the classroom into learning stations, encouraging cooperative work in small groups. Each team rotated through the different activities:
Station 1: Programming with Bee-Bot
Station 2: Challenges with Jack the Mouse
Station 3: The Directions Suitcase with our “Monkey”
Station 4: Simulating routes using tablets and the Bee-Bot app
These sessions have not only strengthened technological skills, but have also fostered cooperative learning, communication and active listening, perseverance when facing mistakes, and confidence in their own abilities.
The classroom was filled with excitement every time a route worked successfully… and with thoughtful reflection when it was time to improve the strategy.
We remain committed to active methodologies that prepare our pupils to understand the digital world in a critical, creative and responsible way.
In Year 2, we continue programming our future step by step!
It feels like we are pirates!

We learn to think like scientists in 1st Grade
Over the past few weeks, we have been working on a project in which the children investigate what plants need to grow healthy. To do this, we have designed a simple classroom experiment that allows us to compare different situations and observe what happens in each case.
We have planted several seeds under different conditions: one plant with light and water, one plant without water, and one plant without light. Throughout the days, the students carefully observe what happens to each one and record the results. Which one grows the most? Which one changes color? What happens when something important is missing?
