Fresh news in the spotlight!

It's the end of another term and it's time for the newspaper to compile some of the activities that have taken place in the second term. As always, the students who have volunteered to take part in the quarterly newspaper have done so.

Don't forget to take a look at it, it won't disappoint you and it's well worth it!

Day at the Theatre

Students and teachers have gone to the theatre to enjoy a play, the best way of improving the skills of listening and speaking while interacting with the actors and actresses!

Swapping Hometowns, Exchanging Life Experiences eTwinning Project

Along this third term, students taking Year 5 will be working on a eTwinning project from Immersion in English subject.

The first step is the introduction of the project to the students by means of a presentation.

After learning what the project is about, students make their avatars to explain and share with students from Turkey, Poland and Italy their weekday routines. In this way they discover the differences between cultures and customs marked by different lifestyles.

Apart from our daily life experiences, we want to share with them the beauty of our city, that’s why we create logos to represent our hometown. The idea is to transmit the aspects that make our wonderful city unique. Have a look at the video presentation we have made.

Once all the winning logos from the participating schools have been shared, a collaborative passport has been created: Sawppers Community Passport. Have a look at it, you'll see how great it looks!

On the following links you’ll find out the collaborative Final Tasks we’ve been working on.
